Hello Pastor Nick, my name is JoAnn and my boyfriend is Thomas. He works full-time as an auto mechanic and i am retired. He works in Firestone so we are trying to stay in the general area.. We are living in our motorhome at this time in between trying to find a home. We have been staying in the parking lot behind you that is empty and have not disturbed anyone. We are quiet, respectful and clean. We unfortunately were asked to leave as it is private property. We were wondering if it would be possible to park in your back parking lot. Our motorhokebis clean and runs properly unfortunately uoubare not allowed to park on the streets of Longmont any longer and we can not afford to stay at the state parks as they are expensive. If you could help us in anyway we would greatly appreciate it. I don’t know if you could maybe help with a voucher for St. Vrain State park if your parking lot is not an option. Thank you again.
Hi JoAnn, we don’t own this property, and so we don’t have the power or authority to give people permission to use the parking lot other than for attending our church. I have noticed you guys over there and can affirm that you haven’t bothered anyone. However, since this is not our property we don’t have the ability to grant that permission. You could reach out to Tebo Properties if you’d like to ask them. As for benevolence, we can certainly help you with assistance from our food pantry, which might relieve some of your financial burden and make it possible for you to afford a state park pass or something of that sort. Feel free to stop in during church office hours (10-2). God bless you.
